Our Vision

Lifelong access for everyone to participate in the performing arts, and to benefit from the therapeutic and culturally enriching effect the arts can provide for us all.

Our Mission

To help transform the lives of people and communities with the aim of providing accessible and high-quality performing arts education and training for everyone.

We understand the many ways in which performing arts make a positive difference to the lives of people and communities. We are committed to removing barriers and aim to make performing arts education and performance experience accessible to everyone, whatever their level of ability or personal circumstances.

We help bring our community together through our performing arts programmes, creating various community partnerships and increasing culture and arts experience overall.

Our theatre training companies for young performers include;

  • Little Actors (for children 4-7 years old)

  • Artemis Junior Theatre Company (7-13 years)

  • Artemis Medusa Young Company - musical theatre (13-24 years)

  • Artemis Loves Disney - Musical Theatre company who perform at Disney World, USA.

Our Cheer and dance training companies for young performers include;

  • Junior Level 1 Cheer (age 10+)

  • Mini Level 1 (age 6+)

  • Tiny Level 1 (age 3+)

  • Senior Level 2 Cheer (teen to adult)

  • Youth Level 1 Cheer (Age 8+)

  • Senior Non Tumble Level 3 (15-adult)

  • Senior Stunt Teams - Levels 1, 2, 3 & 4

  • Artemis Hip Hop and Street (Hip Hop/Street classes and competitive Crews ages 4 years to adult)

Our holiday training companies for young performers include;

  • A week long summer program’s for 4-12’s. Low cost and free to children on Free School Meals.

  • Musical Theatre Intensive - a two week long summer program with a qualification and a large show for the public at the end. For teens aged 16-19. Free and fully funded by the college. Free small qualification.

  • Acting Intensive (every other year) - a three week long summer program with a qualification and a show or film for the public at the end. For teens aged 16-19. Free and fully funded by the college. Free L.A.M.D.A solo or Duo exam.

Our pastoral support and personal development programs for young performers include;

  • One to one mentoring and talking support with qualified Mental Health First Aid staff members

  • Weekly sessions on soft skills for work in both creative arts and other industries

  • UCAS/ job application support

  • Audition/interview prep support for university entry

  • Support for parents looking after children or teens with challenges

  • Networking to engage students in work experience within the arts, creative and education sectors.

 

Artemis College

Artemis College was launched in January 2018. It is the sister school of Artemis Studios (founded in 2007) and offers FREE (funded) full time performing arts (acting and Musical Theatre) training and qualifications to students aged 16-19*

  • Free Sixth form and Foundation courses. 

  • Free Level 3 training in Performing Arts

  • Free or self funding Level 4 training

  • Free RSL Musical Theatre Qualifications

  • Free Theatre trips (inc West End)​

  • Appear in at least 2 shows each year, plus professional work experience as part of your full time course.. 

  • Full time 21-27 hours a week, plus free optional enrichment evening and weekend classes (by audition).

  • Max 25 in each year group. 

  • Entry by workshop auditions, and a minimum of 5 GCSE's at 4 of higher, including Maths and English. 

We work with Big Creative Training, a large London school, to offer outstanding training in the heart of Berkshire. You can find out more about BCT at www.bigcreative.education. When you join Artemis College - you are also a Big Creative Training student, with all the support that provides. 

Our FREE full time courses are held in South Hill Park Arts Centre in BRACKNELL - allowing students to immerse themselves in a performing and visual arts environment. With 'real' dance studios, rehearsal rooms, two theatres, an amphitheatre, free car park, cafe on site and walking distance to local shops and the brand new Lexicon shopping centre in town - it is a perfect place to study!

Artemis offers a National Champions cheer program. Regional and National champions for L2 and L4 Co-Ed stunt Cheer! We are also regional champions for 2019 in junior Hip Hop and also senior Lyrical and Jazz.  

Our cheer and dance program includes;

  • Junior Level 1 Cheer (age 10+)

  • Mini Level 1 (age 6+)

  • Tiny Level 1 (age 3+)

  • Senior Level 2 Cheer (teen to adult)
