We are recruiting for a permanent music teacher to start January 2010.

Our current tutor has been offered a place in the prestigious Glyndebourne Opera company and leaves us in December.

Candidates must meet the following criteria as a minimum:

Free Saturdays during term time. 10.30-6pm (hours may be greater or fewer depending on private classes)
Able to play the piano to a good standard.
Experience of teaching children aged 5-20 in group and solo classes.
Experience of teaching singing grades (we offer both Musical Theatre and ABRSM)
Able to get to Artemis in a reasonable amount of time (no long commutes which may cause tiredness)
A degree in music or performing arts from a recognized university.
At least one other musical qualification (a postgrad / PGCE or similar)
Able to commit until July 2010 as a minimum
