If you are a serious dancer, who is looking for something new, welcome to our Dance Major course!

Like our 'triple threat' classes, you will spend saturday being tutored by the best staff, but on this course you can major in the subject you love!

Acting is part of dance, so you will start your day with a technique class. The tutor will help you develop the actor in you, allowing you to really interpret a piece on stage or in an audition!

For the next two solid hours you will work with one of our great dance staff, who, after a thorough warm up, will lead you in classes in a variety of styles ranging from ballet, tap, lyrical, street, jazz, and many more. You will learn to choreograph and try routines and movements which will leave you a cut above the rest!

Dancer Majors perform at Artemis Shows, public events, selected dance festivals and in support of our Theatre Company at any musicals they produce.

It is likely you will have taken grade 3 or above in any dance subject to get the full benefit from this class.
