Street Cheer launched in 2007 with the support of UKCA, the United Kingdom Cheerleading Association and StreetGames, and Artemis became involved in 2009.

Street Cheer is a fusion of urban Street and Hip hop Dance, with traditional Cheer Dance discipline and structure.
