Avalon went out into local schools before hitting the theatre. In the weeks running up to the show, Theatre
Company students began their outreach work programme (which will go towards Arts Awards).

Over 300 children aged 7-11 met members of the company and Bart for a fun filled day in their own
halls. They then came to see the sold out Avalon matinee show.

In addition, we were granted funding to run outreach workshops for teenagers too, and a few have
now taken place. If you are 13-19, and think your drama teacher at school would like a FREE workshop
call us! We need a minimum of 25 students to hold a workshops, and a maximum of 50 (you can have more than one though if you think the whole year would like to have a go at acting! Workshops last between 2 and three hours.
