Avalon was our hit summer show in 2008. The musical was commissioned by Artemis Studios and written and directed by Bart Lee with music by Tom Neill. The show played for two days at the Wilde Theatre, South Hill Park to enthusiastic audiences, including a sell-out schools' performance.

Produced and directed by Diane Allen (who is also one of our most popular tutors), and starring (along with the rest of the cast!) Artemis actors Max Puplett (Lead) Maria Gunning (Lead) Josh Poole (Lead) Danica Kozlic (dancer and actor), Verity Richards (dancer and actor), Brad Clapson (dancer and choreographer) and director Stephen Harrison, this successful show took place at South Hill Park in April 2008. Diane's theatre company People's Playhouse produced the show for charity and will produce a festival in Autumn 2008 to raise funds for actors who wish to further their training.

Christmas was a busy time, with a modelling shoot (Victorian urchins!), Santa living with us, and the end of term workshare!

At the end of every other term we offer parents and friends the chance to preview work and take part in classes after school on the last day of term.

Paul Weber, Head of Casting, MGM Worldwide, taught a TV/Film Auditioning Technique Workshop Intensive Class at Artemis Studios on Sunday 2nd September 2007. Never before has this opportunity been given to UK Actors!

For their latest project, Fireraisers Theatre Company decided to use a cast consisting entirely of young people and they asked Artemis Studios to provide them with the twenty eight actors, singers and dancers that would be needed to create this epic journey through the mansion and grounds of South Hill Park.

Artemis students signed to our agency took part in a fun summer fashion shoot, modeling clothes and products for high street retail chains including Adams, Bentalls, Millets, Mothercare and Woolworths.
