Junior Theatre Companies

Our Junior Theatre Company works in three casts for technique classes (Little Actors Company aged 4-6, Juniors aged 6-11, and Advanced aged 11-14). For shows and exams Junior Theatre Company work together, often with the older Medusa Teen Theatre Company, to perform large muscials and plays. Recent plays include 'Oliver!' and 'Les Miserables'. 2018 is 'Ghost Station' at the Kenton Theatre! EVERY cast member has a named part, and is on stage for at least half the show! 

Artemis Little Actors Company
Drama and Musical Theatre for 4-6 years

  • For little actors who arent quite old enough or ready for our Junior Theatre Company - we are introducing Artemis Little Actors Company! 
  • Taught by qualified and very experienced tutors, with mentor assistants from our old teen theatre company Medusa.

Acting & Musical Theatre (11-14)

Advanced young-teen (11-14)  level all-round drama, dance and music course. A stage school experience for pre-teens in full time education. Our Saturday Junior Company offers more than just drama games. Our highly qualified tutors work together to tailor stimulating imaginative classes, and direct shows and exam pieces which really stretch each individual.

Junior Theatre Company Intermediate
Acting & Musical Theatre (7-10)

All-round drama, dance and music course for young performers aged 7-10 (6 if they are happy and able to cope - a free two week trial is available). A stage school experience for pre-teens in full time education. Our blended Saturday course offers more than just drama games. Our tutors work together to tailor stimulating imaginative classes which really stretch each individual, using technique lessons, and then applying them to show rehearsals.

Saturday 6th January 2018. Actors aged 6-21

Ghost Station is a time travelling musical theatre thriller! 

This show was commissioned by Artemis and has 72 speaking roles. EVERY performer can opt for as many or as few lines as they feel they can handle. All cast are on stage at least 50% of the show! 

Rehearsals are each Saturday, 10:30 to 1.45 (Junior cast, 6-14) and 2.45-6pm (senior cast 15-21), during term time.

Produced by Artemis and Medusa Pro - our Young Producers group. Starring Artemis Junior Theatre Co and with guests/support from Medusa Young Company. 

Join us for this reprisal of a play written for Artemis in 2013 - which saw fan mail flutter in for the cast! Presented in rep with Sweeney Todd (alternating shows), this play with music features a high tech set with projection mapping to take you time travelling to war time London and back to the future again in a tale based on a true story!

L.A.M.D.A 2017

This year our annual L.A.M.D.A exams in Musical Theatre and Acting will be held on Saturdays 9th and 16th December. This has been confirmed by L.A.M.D.A.

A full timetable will be confirmed as soon as we have it from LAMDA, and it will be published here, and available as a letter online through the parent portal, and in class.
