Student Jamie Ryan lands lead role next to 'Pirate' Kevin McNally

9 year old Jamie Ryan is having a great year! After a series of auditions, he has landed a great lead role in a film about a father and son 'Fathers Day' - playing 'Max', the son. He has already worked in film and TV in commercials. Last November he won a scholarship worth thousands of pounds to attend Barbara Speake Stage School in London full time until he is 16 He was spotted when attending the ITS convention with our agency. We will be sad to see him go in September but we are now working with Barbara Speake to bring both schools together to get even more work for our children. The film's producer Toby Richards was led to Jamie by another casting director, who like Dame Barbara Speake, spotted his talent and potential at ITS. Also starring in the short movie is Kevin McNally, who plays a policeman. The film will be rehearsing as our guests at Artemis Studios during half term and shoots from the end of Feb into March. We are delighted that Jamie got this great role - and welcome the cast and crew of the film to the Bracknell Studios! Jamie's brother Tommy will also be in the film in a walk on role.
