Artemis @ Marvellous Festival 2010!
For the second year running, Artemis will help entertain the 6000 strong crowds at The Marvellous Festival!
Tony goes for an Oscar!
Congrats to Tony Allgood, agency client and friend of Artemis.
Summer school students at the Windsor Globe
Shakespeare summer school students had a great time on their course during our second summer school week during July. In addition to learning sonnets, monologues and scenes, the children undertook fight skills workshops, period dance and practiced their parts for the end of week showcase for parents.
Summer school fun!
For the last week of July 2009, dozens of young performers (some just 3!) came to Artemis to learn to sing, dance and act. The children broke into two groups, 7 and below and 8-11 to learn routines, songs and scenes ready to present to their parents at the end of the week. The course was a huge success, and all the children and tutors had a superb (and exausting!) week.
A MARVELLOUS time was had by all!
This summer, for two days, Artemis Students, supported in the audience by their friends and families, performed at the fantastic Marvellous Family Festival in Wellington Country Park.
Elizabeth Moon and the Secret of the Midnight Orphanage
[inline:DSC_7520.jpg] 'Elizabeth Moon and the Secret of the Midnight Orphange' written and directed by Bart Lee for Medusa Theatre Company and Triple Threat played to audiences in Reading for a week in July. The set was designed by Jan Allen, and built with the help of six work experience students from Edgbarrow school in Crowthorne.
Ross is the face of Stone Island!
Check our Ross Allen! The model was signed last November, and has now undertaken many jobs. This picture is Ross, 40 feet tall on a billboard in Mailan. The photo can also be seen in Selfridges London in Menswear at the moment (just Ross in Selfridges). Ross is the redhead in the green jacket. Go Ross!!
Artemis girls and Chaperones return to St Trinians film
Congrats to Artemis seniors who returned to reprise their roles in the new St Trinians movie over the summer. The girls enjoyed the experience so much in 2007, they went back for more in August 2009! Artemis also provided a team of chaperones for the film - we aren't sure who had a better time- the actors or the chaperones!
Scarlett signs with The Madame Project
Star pupil Scarlett Windle has done it again! She passed through tough auditions to gain a place in girl band The Madame Project (who have already had chart success in the US). Scarlett is one of the five extremely talented girls, aged 18 to 24. She has spent two months recording new material with the group, learning dance routines, working with top stylists and photographers.
Check out the girls in OK Magazine!
Check out Scarlett, Maria and Lydia in OK Magazine! The girls were at the Wyndham Grand Hotel in Chelsea (along with Brad Clapson, Steph Still, Ellesha Newton, Niki Robinson and Scarletts extended family - just some of the 500 invited guests) to watch and celebrate the launch of Scarletts new girl band The Madame Project.
